The Judge Group is seeking an Off-Shift Mechanic in Madisonville, KY to inspect, diagnose, repair, rebuild and test electric motors, pumps, gearboxes, generators, and other rotating equipment. This role requires strong mechanical troubleshooting, safety focus, and the ability to work independently while maintaining quality.

The position offers an hourly pay range of $23.00 to $27.00 USD, with off-shift schedules and comprehensive benefits including health, retirement, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
• Experience with electric motor repair, industrial maintenance, or rotating equipment.
• Ability to read technical drawings and use precision measuring tools.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently on off-shift schedules.

Responsabilités

• Disassemble and inspect motors, pumps, gearboxes, generators, and related equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues through troubleshooting and inspection.
• Inspect bearings, shafts, armatures, stators, housings, and windings for wear or faults.
• Repair and replace components including bearings, brushes, seals, shafts, and windings.
• Perform bearing replacements, shaft repairs, and component restoration.
• Conduct dynamic balancing and testing of rebuilt equipment.
• Reassemble equipment to OEM specs with proper alignment and torque.
• Complete work orders and maintain repair documentation.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
