Job summary

Branch Civil is seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Truck Driver to join our Civil Division. The driver will operate heavy-duty trucks used for off-road transport of earth, rock, or bulk materials, including dump trucks.

Candidates should have 1–3 years of heavy truck driving experience, knowledge of OSHA regulations, and be willing to work long hours and be on-call as needed. This is a full-time, on-site position with competitive pay based on experience.

Qualifications

  • 1 to 3 years of heavy duty truck driving experience.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations.
  • DOT experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • May service and make normal operating adjustments to equipment.
  • Routine fueling, lubrication and servicing.
  • Cleaning of equipment and work area.
  • Operate controls.
  • Positioning truck for loading and unloading.
  • Dumping/off loading.
  • May perform other related duties.

Position Summary

Branch's Civil Division is searching for an experienced and safety-oriented Heavy Duty Truck Driver to join our well-established, growing company. The Heavy Duty Truck Driver operates heavy-duty trucks typically designed and used for "off-road" transportation of earth, rock, or other mass or bulk materials. Equipment may be, but not necessarily limited to, a back/rear/end dump or bottom dump.

  • May service and make normal operating adjustments to equipment
  • Routine fueling, lubrication and servicing
  • Cleaning of equipment and work area
  • Operate controls
  • Positioning truck for loading and unloading
  • Dumping/off loading
  • May perform other related duties

Compensation Data

Salary Min: $34,727

Salary Max: $57,915

Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position which will typically involve 40+ hours a week. Due to the nature of the job, the employee must be available on-call early/late hours to deal with delays, bad weather and emergencies at the job site.
