Job summary

Hyundai America Technical Center, Inc. seeks an Off-Road Traction Manager to lead the development of off-road and traction performance for North American vehicles.

You will calibrate systems, define targets, and guide hardware/software work across AWD, PE, and related subsystems. Ideal candidates have extensive engineering experience in vehicle dynamics and leadership, with strong communication and project-management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in automotive engineering.
• 5+ years in vehicle dynamics/off-road/traction development.
• 3+ years experience managing engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead off-road and traction performance development for NA market vehicles.
• Oversee testing, calibration, and hardware/software development for AWD/PE systems.
• Provide technical guidance on software calibration and subsystem integration.
• Define development directions, targets, and hardware specs.
• Mentor team members and manage resources, budgets, and tests.
