Job summary

The Nevada Automotive Test Center (NATC) in Silver Springs, NV is seeking a Test Vehicle Operator to support field and test operations on a variety of vehicles.

You will operate and maintain test vehicles, collect data, and ensure safety standards are followed. This full-time position requires a valid Nevada driver's license, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and flexibility to work extended hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Nevada driver's license with clean record over the last 3 years.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate various test vehicles.
• Willingness to work extended hours and shifts, including off-road tests.
• Ability to read technical manuals and document test results.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct at all times.

Responsibilities

• Operate test vehicles safely on a range of on- and off-road test courses.
• Record engine data, temperatures, pressures and fuel use.
• Inspect vehicles before, during and after tests; perform basic field maintenance.
• Submit complete test data logs and observations to the team.
• Follow NATC safety plans and maintain professional conduct.
