Job summary

North American Construction Group (NACG) seeks a Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic (Off-Road) to join our remote mining site team near Fort McMurray. You will repair CAT/Komatsu/Hitachi equipment and perform preventative maintenance, working closely with maintenance and operations staff.

The role offers a 14 x 14 rotation, overtime opportunities, weekly pay, and comprehensive benefits after 400 hours worked.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience post Journeyman certification on large equipment.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with minimal supervision.
• Commitment to safety, continuous learning and responsible work behavior.

Responsibilities

• Complete repairs on CAT/Komatsu/Hitachi equipment of all sizes.
• Perform preventative maintenance and service of equipment.
• Develop work scopes and schedules for repairs and order parts.
