Job summary

Appalachian Aggregates, LLC, a CRH Company, operates as a stone producer with multiple locations in central and southeastern West Virginia, seeking skilled equipment operators for off-road haul trucks in open-pit mining. This role requires experience with haul trucks, a strong safety mindset, and the ability to perform routine inspections.

Starting pay is $18.00 per hour, with benefits including 401(k) match, health/dental/vision, life and disability insurance, PTO, holidays, and boot

Qualifications

• Experience operating haul trucks or similar heavy equipment.
• Must pass drug screen and background check.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends as needed.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate off-road haul trucks in quarry/mining operations.
• Perform daily pre/post-trip inspections with proper documentation.
• Transport materials across the site following haul routes.
• Report equipment issues and safety concerns to management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
