Job summary

Charah Solutions Inc. is seeking an on-site truck operator to safely operate dump trucks and water trucks at designated job sites in Belmont, NC.

You will follow safety protocols, coordinate with crew members, and perform routine maintenance to keep equipment in good working order. The role requires a valid driver's license, at least one year of truck operating experience, and the ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Minimum one-year experience operating trucks preferred.
• Experience driving in a construction or similar environment preferred.
• Knowledge of ash management, structural fills and landfills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive and maneuver dump trucks in an off-road setting.
• Operate water trucks to suppress particle build-up and maintain air quality on site.
• Safely unload material into designated areas.
• Coordinate machine actions with crew members using hand or audio signals.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and determine maintenance needs.
• Adjust controls to exact positions as necessary.
• Learn, follow, and promote all safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
