Job summary

Martin Marietta seeks a Haul Truck Driver to safely operate a 100-ton off-road haul truck at our Arkansas plant, transporting crushed stone from pit to crusher and moving materials between stockpiles according to safety rules.

The role requires teamwork, the ability to read manuals, and completing pre-shift inspections. New hire orientation and safety training occur at the Dallas Corporate Office, with travel reimbursement if the commute exceeds 50 miles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of related experience; haul truck experience is a plus.
• Working knowledge of heavy construction equipment.
• Experience using a variety of hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely and efficiently per training and manufacturer instructions.
• Perform pre-shift safety inspections on vehicle systems and equipment.
• Maintain and service mobile equipment preventative measures.
• Report repairs to supervision when needed.
• Ensure cargo is properly loaded according to safety requirements.
• Maintain good housekeeping of equipment.
• Assist in plant maintenance and repairs and operate other equipment as needed.
• Adhere to MSHA and plant safety rules and procedures.
• Perform duties with minimal supervision.
