Job summary

Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine’s Cardiac Surgery division seeks a full-time Clinician-Educator at the Associate Professor rank to lead a dedicated coronary artery surgery program with emphasis on off-pump, robotic, and minimally invasive techniques in Chicago.

Candidates must have completed accredited thoracic or cardiovascular surgery training with eligibility for board certification in the United States or international equivalent, and at least seven years of adult cardiac

Qualifications

• Completed accredited training in thoracic or cardiovascular surgery meeting board certification requirements (US or international).
• At least 7 years of experience in adult cardiac surgery including off-pump coronary operations.
• Experience as first operator in robotic coronary operations.

Responsibilities

• Build and support a dedicated coronary artery surgery program with emphasis on off-pump, robotic, and minimally invasive techniques.
• Provide clinical leadership and education within the division.
