Qualifications

  • 5–8 years in OFAC or sanctions screening.
  • Bachelor’s degree or related experience.
  • Knowledge of BSA/AML regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate sanctions screening escalations and true hits; escalate per procedure.
  • Assist with case tracking and quality control reviews.
  • Conduct investigations ensuring timeliness and adherence to procedures.
  • Review daily OFAC screening reports and document findings.
  • Review FinCEN 314(a) matches and escalate as needed.
  • Summarize match escalations with thorough documentation.
  • Coordinate with Operations and clients to resolve issues.
  • Stay updated on OFAC/AML regulatory changes and trainings.
  • Utilize all tools and technologies relevant to the role.
  • Suggest and help implement efficiency improvements.
  • Support other Compliance teams on workflow and projects.
