Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
• Admission to the New York Bar required; New Jersey Bar admission is a plus.
• 10+ years of tort/insurance defense litigation experience.
• Extensive experience handling depositions, court appearances, motion practice, mediations, arbitrations, and client counseling.

Responsibilities

• Take and defend depositions, argue at hearings, and attend court conferences in state and federal courts.
• Develop and execute litigation strategy, including early case assessment, risk analysis, and resolution planning.
• Draft and argue substantive motions, including dispositive motions, appeals, and complex legal memoranda.
• Collaborate with partners and colleagues to develop case strategies and deliver exceptional client service.
• Manage all phases of discovery, including electronic discovery and expert witness strategy.
• Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, responsiveness, and client service while effectively managing multiple high-priority matters.
• Respond to catastrophic events, meeting with clients and develop litigation defenses.
• Mentor and supervise junior associates, providing guidance on litigation strategy, legal writing, and professional development.

We are seeking senior associates with diverse backgrounds to strengthen our team.

Job Duties:

Compensation & Benefits

We offer a competitive salary, an excellent benefits package and a collaborative, friendly environment. The salary range for this role is $160,000-$200,000. Actual salary will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience.
