Job summary

Brewer Attorneys & Counselors seeks an accomplished attorney to join as Of Counsel in our Dallas office. The ideal candidate will lead complex commercial litigation matters, provide strategic legal counsel to clients, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to advance litigation objectives.

Requirements include a minimum of 8 years of legal experience, licensing to practice in Texas (additional jurisdictions a plus), and outstanding drafting, negotiation, research, and writing

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of legal experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services setting.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, research and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and writing abilities.
• Licensed to practice in Texas; additional jurisdictions (NY, FL, AZ) a plus.
• Collaborative and team-oriented with sound judgment and client focus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as lead or senior counsel on complex commercial litigation, investigations, appeals, and other significant disputes.
• Deliver strategic, business-focused legal counsel to clients and high-stake matters.
• Collaborate with attorneys, investigators, consultants, and communications professionals to advance client objectives.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives.
• Identify emerging legal risks, opportunities, and litigation trends relevant to clients and the firm.
• Manage case strategy, consultants, trial preparation, and settlement negotiations.
