Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or two years purchasing experience required.
• Direct OEM fastener or component supply chain experience preferred.
• Clear written and verbal communication in a professional manner.
• Ability to organize tasks, prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel up to 5% and possess a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Centralizes materials activities for new accounts and serves as single point of contact.
• Monitor, confirm and report item creation with the part create team.
• Place purchase orders; expedite to meet delivery commitments.
• Source and purchase next-day and emergency orders; manage PO process end-to-end.
• Maintain min/max replenishment levels and inventory forecasts.
• Collaborate with Sales, Sourcing, Operations and Quality teams to meet customer needs.
• Adhere to MSC purchasing guidelines and ensure costs and delivery commitments are met.
