Job summary

Toyota of Melbourne is seeking a skilled Certified Technician to join our collision center, which is certified with Toyota, Lexus, Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, and BMW. The ideal candidate understands OEM certification requirements and manufacturer repair procedures.

Responsibilities include performing repairs per repair orders, test-driving vehicles, diagnosing and repairing automotive systems, and coordinating with the Estimator on additional work and time estimates.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications are ideal.
• I-CAR Credentials.
• Strong automotive background.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Willing to submit to a drug screen and background check.
• Must have clean & valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate with the Estimator to inform customers of additional needed services and estimate repair time
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
