Job summary

Toyota of Melbourne is seeking a Certified Technician to join our collision center. Our team works to maintain OEM certification requirements and brand-specific repair standards in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Responsibilities include repairs per repair order, test-driving, diagnosing systems, coordinating with the Estimator on additional work, and warranty repairs per manufacturer specifications. ASE and I-CAR credentials are preferred; a clean driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications are ideal.
• I-Car Credentials are preferred.
• Strong automotive background is required.
• Strong teamwork skills are essential.
• Willing to submit to a drug screen and background check.
• Must have a clean and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and diagnose components and systems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Estimator about additional repairs and time estimates.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
