Job summary

MSCCN is seeking a Technical Training Instructor to support a premium Automotive OEM at the Ridgeville Training Center in South Carolina. The role focuses on training dealership apprentice technicians in diagnostic strategies and vehicle systems repair through hands-on classes and assessments.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in automotive repair and OEM training, strong classroom facilitation and communication skills, and a passion for adult education, safety, and continuous improvement within

Qualifications

• 6+ years of work experience in automotive technical repair and diagnostics.
• 3+ years of work experience training OEM dealership technicians.
• Knowledge of electric vehicle technology a plus.
• Ability to read, interpret and explain mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Experience preparing classrooms, workshops, and vehicles for learning.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (OneDrive, Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate training workshops for dealership apprentice technicians to help them obtain their initial OEM certification.
• Prepare workshops and vehicles for experiential learning.
• Verify learners’ understanding using competency-based training.
• Identify additional training needs based on learner feedback and assessments.
• Maintain Regional Training Facility, tools, student guides, literature, vehicles, and training center.
• Maintain attendee training records in learning portal.
• Collaborate with Corporate, Regional, and Dealership teams to achieve training goals.
• Perform light to medium lifting in repair shop operations.
