Job summary

CTL Engineering Inc. is seeking ODOT prequalified Inspectors (asphalt) for roadway and bridge projects in Northeast Ohio, starting with the I-90 project in Cuyahoga County.

Travel within the greater Cleveland/Northeast Ohio region is expected, with frequent night shifts and mileage reimbursement or a company vehicle depending on assignment. Ideal candidates will have asphalt inspection/testing experience, ability to read blueprints, and a strong commitment to quality and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• ODOT prequalified Asphalt Inspector II is preferred but not required.
• Construction inspection experience on ODOT funded projects.
• Ability to work frequent night shifts.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Experience with asphalt inspection/testing.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce quality standards and specifications.
• Inspect construction projects and ensure contractor compliance.
• Read project drawings and blueprints.
• Prepare and maintain project records and reports.
• Notify the Project Engineer with status updates.
