Job summary

Serosoft Solutions is seeking an experienced Odoo Consultant to implement, configure, and support Odoo ERP solutions for clients. The role covers hands-on work with Odoo Community and Enterprise editions, configuring modules (Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, CRM, HR, Payroll, Maintenance, Fleet, Expenses), workflows, roles, and company structures.

Localization for India (GST/TDS/PF/ESI/NPS) is included.

Qualifications

• 35 years of experience in Odoo ERP implementation and functional consulting.
• Hands-on experience with Odoo Community and/or Enterprise editions.
• Strong knowledge of Odoo modules such as Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, CRM, HR, Payroll, Maintenance, Fleet, Expenses.
• Experience configuring workflows, user roles, and security access.
• Good understanding of India localization (GST, TDS, PF, ESI, NPS).
• Experience coordinating with development teams for customisations.
• Familiarity with Odoo App Store modules and third‑party applications.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced Odoo Consultant to implement, configure, and support Odoo ERP solutions for our clients. The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience with Odoo Community and/or Enterprise editions and possess strong functional knowledge across various business modules. The role involves understanding client requirements, configuring Odoo modules, coordinating with technical teams for customizations, supporting integrations, conducting user training, and ensuring successful project implementation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Odoo ERP Implementation

• Implement and configure Odoo ERP modules based on business requirements.
• Work on Odoo Community and Enterprise editions.
• Configure modules such as Accounting, Sales, Purchase, Inventory, HR, Payroll, CRM, Maintenance, Fleet, Expenses, and Asset Management.
• Configure workflows, user roles, access rights, approval processes, and company structures.
• Support India localization requirements, including GST, TDS, PF, ESI, NPS, and statutory compliance.

Functional Consulting

• Understand client business processes and recommend appropriate Odoo solutions.
• Conduct requirement gathering and functional discussions with stakeholders.
• Demonstrate standard Odoo functionalities and recommend best practices.
• Assist clients in adopting standard Odoo features wherever possible.

Customization & Integration Support

• Coordinate with developers for functional customisations.
• Prepare functional specifications for required enhancements.
• Validate developed features before User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Support integrations with third‑party applications and external systems.

Testing & User Training

• Prepare and execute UAT test scenarios.
• Identify and resolve functional issues during implementation.
• Conduct end‑user training sessions and prepare user documentation.
• Provide Go-Live and post‑implementation support.

Project Coordination

• Work closely with project managers, developers, and client stakeholders.
• Ensure timely completion of assigned implementation activities.
• Track functional issues and provide suitable resolutions.
• Support system upgrades and implementation of new features.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Mandatory

• 35 years of experience in Odoo ERP implementation and functional consulting.
• Hands‑on experience with Odoo Community and/or Enterprise editions.
• Strong knowledge of Odoo modules such as Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, CRM, HR, Payroll, Maintenance, Fleet, and Expenses.
• Experience in configuring workflows, user roles, and security access.
• Good understanding of India localization (GST, TDS, PF, ESI, NPS).
• Experience working with Odoo customisations and coordinating with development teams.
• Familiarity with Odoo App Store modules and third‑party applications.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Preferred

• Experience with Odoo Studio.
• Basic knowledge of Python, XML, and REST APIs.
• Experience with OCA modules.
• Exposure to Odoo version upgrades and migrations.
• Experience in ERP implementation projects across multiple industries.
