Job summary

Front Range Community College seeks an ODHR Communications & Systems Coordinator to translate complex ODHR information into clear, timely communications for executive leadership and staff. The role partners with ODHR leaders, develops calendars, and coordinates channels and resources for major initiatives and employee programs.

The position focuses on information synthesis, audience‑centered messaging, and ensuring accessible, compliant communications while aligning with institutional standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, organizational communication, human resources, business, public administration, or a related field.
• Two years of professional experience in internal communications, executive communications, HR communications, digital content, or closely related work.
• Demonstrated professional writing, editing, and information synthesis experience, including translating complex material for varied audiences.
• Experience managing communication calendars, multi-contributor review processes, or digital content.
• Experience using collaboration, presentation, intranet, content-management, forms, or workflow tools.
• Demonstrated experience HRIS.
• Sound judgment with confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an integrated annual ODHR communication strategy and calendar across Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Employee Relations, Learning & Development, Organizational Development, and other ODHR functions.
• Advise the Vice President and ODHR leaders on audience, timing, tone, sequence, and channel selection.
• Translate complex HR policies, guidelines, practices, system changes, and operational information into plain language content.
• Collaborate with SMEs to ensure communications are accurate, accessible, and relevant to all employee groups.
• Maintain a consistent ODHR voice and presentation standard.
• Evaluate communication effectiveness through available engagement information and stakeholder feedback.
