Job summary

Honeywell Technologies is seeking a Machinist - Level 3 (OD Grinder) to perform precision cylindrical grinding. You will operate, set up, and maintain OD grinding equipment, inspect parts for tolerance, and work with quality and production teams to meet schedules, all on a 1st shift, on-site at our Colorado facility.

The role requires extensive experience in grinding techniques, setup, and reading engineering drawings, with a focus on quality and safety in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years operating OD grinding machines in a manufacturing environment.
• 5+ years experience in grinding techniques, machine setup, and maintenance.
• 5+ years reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain OD grinding machines to produce precision cylindrical parts according to specifications.
• Set up grinding machines, including selecting and dressing grinding wheels, and adjusting machine controls.
• Inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy and surface finish, making adjustments as necessary.
• Maintain equipment and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance.
• Collaborate with quality control and production teams to meet production schedules and quality standards.
