Job summary
Allegheny Health Network (AHN) Surgery Institute seeks a board-certified or board-eligible Oculoplastic Surgeon to join the Department of Ophthalmology in Pittsburgh, PA. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive oculoplastic and reconstructive surgical services to patients within the AHN network and participate in academic activities.
The role includes eyelid, lacrimal, orbital, and cosmetic procedures, with collaboration across Neurosurgery, ENT, and Plastic Surgery as desired.
Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of an accredited ophthalmology residency program.
- Completion of an accredited oculoplastic surgery fellowship program.
- Board certification or eligibility in Ophthalmology by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
- ASOPRS certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive oculoplastic and reconstructive surgical services to AHN patients.
- Perform eyelid reconstruction, lacrimal, orbital and cosmetic procedures.
- Collaborate with Neurosurgery, ENT, and Plastic Surgery as needed.
- Contribute to academic activities within AHN Research Institute.
- Deliver high-quality medical and surgical care within the AHN network.
