The Villages: St. Luke’s is seeking a full-time Board Certified or Board Eligible Ophthalmologist specializing in Oculoplastic surgery who is interested in making a difference. This high-volume, fast-paced multi-location practice includes three surgery centers across Florida. St. Luke’s has a longstanding reputation for excellence in cataract surgery and eye care. Our practice includes 17 Ophthalmologists and 11 Optometrists, equipped with state-of-the-art technology. Since 1968, our founder, Dr. James Gills, initiated innovations in ophthalmology. Our practice is family-owned.

As an Oculoplastic Surgeon, you will have the opportunity to grow your clientele in our Villages locations and surrounding areas. We boast an established patient base, a large referral network, and significant growth potential. Collaborate with world-class physicians and staff as part of an exceptional team. Job Responsibilities:
  1. Diagnose, assess, and treat Oculoplastic conditions, diseases, and disorders.
  2. Perform comprehensive eye exams.
  3. Conduct surgeries and prescribe medications as needed (note: primary eye care is not part of this role).
  4. Meet high internal demands for Upper and Lower Eyelid Blepharoplasty procedures.
  5. Advise patients on eye health, vision correction options, and lifestyle changes.
  6. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  7. Maintain up-to-date patient records and review medical histories.
  8. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
