Job summary

Mayo Clinic’s Department of Ophthalmology in Rochester, MN is seeking a board‑certified, fellowship‑trained oculofacial plastic surgeon to join our established practice.   • Fellowship trained in Oculofacial Surgery/ Oculoplastic Surgery.

Responsibilities

Mayo Clinic’s Department of Ophthalmology in Rochester, MN is seeking a board‑certified, fellowship‑trained oculofacial plastic surgeon to join our established practice. This position involves clinical care of patients, a busy surgical practice, and resident and fellow teaching and supervision in the clinics and operating rooms. Candidates should have an academic interest in clinical and/or laboratory research. The department has a strong history and tradition in oculofacial plastic surgical care and currently comprises 40 faculty members who cover all subspecialty areas of ophthalmology.

Qualifications
  • Board‑certified in Ophthalmology
  • Members/candidate members of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS)
  • Fellowship trained in Oculofacial Surgery/ Oculoplastic Surgery
  • MD/DO or equivalent
  • Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Minnesota

  • Compensation Detail: The minimum starting salary for surgical specialties may range from $307,250 to $843,000. This range reflects full‑time total base compensation prior to consideration of additional experience or duties. Pay for the selected candidate will vary based on specialty, experience, FTE, internal equity, or external market data.
