Job summary

The Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN invites applications for a board-certified, fellowship-trained oculofacial plastic surgeon to join our established practice. You will provide clinical care, perform a busy surgical schedule, and teach residents and fellows in clinics and the OR.

Applicants should have an academic interest in clinical and/or laboratory research, with eligibility for Minnesota medical licensure.

Qualifications

  • Board-certified in Ophthalmology.
  • Fellowship trained in oculofacial/oakuloplastic surgery.
  • MD/DO or equivalent degree.
  • Eligible for medical licensure in Minnesota.
  • ASOPRS member or candidate member.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical care to patients in Ophthalmology.
  • Manage a busy surgical practice, including operating room duties.
  • Teach residents and fellows in clinics and operating rooms.
  • Engage in academic activities and potential clinical/laboratory research.

Job description

Mayo Clinic’s Department of Ophthalmology in Rochester, MN is seeking a board-certified, fellowship-trained oculofacial plastic surgeon to join our established practice. This position involves clinical care of patients, a busy surgical practice, and resident and fellow teaching and supervision in the clinics and operating rooms. Candidates should have an academic interest in clinical and/or laboratory research. The department has a strong history and tradition in oculofacial plastic surgical care and currently comprises 40 faculty members who cover all subspecialty areas of ophthalmology.
