Job summary

Carolina Eyecare Physicians in Mount Pleasant, SC, is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA-C) to work with a fellowship-trained Oculoplastic Surgeon. You will gain hands-on experience in eyelid and periocular procedures while participating in evaluations, testing, and perioperative care.

New graduates are encouraged to apply; ophthalmology experience is preferred but not required. The role offers mentorship and opportunities for autonomous patient scheduling, in a busy oculoplastics practice.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current Physician Assistant license or eligibility for licensure.
• Interest in surgery, procedural medicine, ophthalmology, and/or aesthetics.
• Ophthalmology or surgical experience preferred but not required.
• New graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply.
• Ability to travel to other practice locations as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Participate in patient evaluations and diagnostic testing.
• Assist with office-based procedures and perioperative care.
• Provide pre- and postoperative care and surgical support.
• Develop hands-on clinical skills in eyelid and periocular procedures.
