Job summary

Precision Ocular Network is seeking a Recovery Technician to perform sterile ocular tissue recovery from deceased donors for transplant, research, and education. You will ensure compliance with FDA, EBAA, and SOPs, while maintaining accurate records and safe transport of specimens.

The role requires on-call availability, strong documentation skills, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. Evening and weekend coverage may be required in this position.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience and an associate's degree in a related field preferred.
• Strong documentation and organizational skills.
• Computer literacy and familiarity with databases and office software.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform sterile ocular tissue recovery using in-situ or enucleation techniques.
• Label, package, and ship tissue and blood samples for labs.
• Enter recovery data into approved databases and ensure compliance with FDA/EBAA standards.
• Maintain sterile techniques and accurate documentation.
• Be available for on-call shifts and participate in trainings.
