The role involves tissue dissection, cell culture, immunoassays, data analysis, and contributing to day-to-day lab operations in an onsite setting. A BS in life sciences with 0–2 years' experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in a life-sciences discipline or related field.
• Hands-on lab experience valued over advanced degree.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Open and frequent communication with manager and team.

Responsibilities

• Handle and care for mice, including injections, colony management, and sample collection.
• Perform tissue dissection and cell isolation from ocular and other tissues for downstream analysis.
• Maintain, expand, and treat cells in vitro using cell lines and primary cells.
• Perform immunoassays and molecular biology assays (ELISA, Western, DNA/RNA extraction).
• Evaluate cell phenotype using flow cytometry and related assays.
• Analyze data using FlowJo, Excel, and Prism; document procedures and results.
