Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, mechanical, electrical engineering or CS.
• Eagerness to learn and develop skills in OCS systems design.
• Enthusiasm for the transit/transportation industry.
• Willingness to participate in field testing of OCS systems.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist the OCS Design Manager.
• Contribute to the management of OCS activities under supervision.
• Contribute to the production of OCS drawings.
• Collaborate with experienced engineer to strengthen knowledge in integration and design.
• Prepare design reports and develop documents, including specifications, drawings, and cost estimates.
• Create calculation tools.
• Collaborate with civil and structural engineers to integrate OCS designs into overall transportation infrastructure.
• Conduct site assessments and inspections to validate design assumptions and ensure proper installation practices.
• Participate in project meetings.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations, standards, and best practices in all design and installation processes.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes related to overhead catenary systems.
• Contribute to the compilation and submission packages.
