Oklahoma Center for Orthopaedic Multi-Specialty Surgery in Oklahoma City seeks an Infection Preventionist to lead infection prevention initiatives. You will guide surveillance, develop protocols, educate teams, and drive safety across the facility.

Ideal candidates bring Oklahoma RN licensure, CIC or HACP-IC within 2 years, and strong epidemiology/infection control knowledge. This role emphasizes collaboration, data-driven improvements, and adherence to healthcare standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Oklahoma is required.
• CIC certification and/or HACP-IC within 2 years of hire.
• Background in nursing, epidemiology, microbiology, or public health.
• Strong knowledge of infectious diseases and infection control practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in surveillance, data analysis, and computer systems.

About the Role – What You’ll Do

As our Infection Preventionist , you’ll be a key member of the Quality Management team, leading efforts to prevent and manage healthcare-associated infections (HAIs). This role blends data analysis, staff education, policy development, and hands–on leadership to ensure a safe, high-quality care environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
