Job summary

Constellation Technologies seeks a senior product leader to drive virtualization and containerization platform strategy, working with government and defense clients. You will own roadmaps, engage stakeholders, and mentor other product managers while delivering complex products on schedule.

The role requires deep virtualization knowledge, Kubernetes, Keycloak, MinIO, Vault, and strong Agile experience. A TS/SCI environment background is implied, with a focus on secure, enterprise-grade solutions.

Qualifications

• Twelve (12) years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree or Sixteen (16) years with HS Diploma; significant portion of experience in virtualization and containerization technologies.
• Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager or similar Agile certification(s) is desirable.
• VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or similar certifications are highly desirable.
• Experience working with government agencies or contractors in the intelligence or defense sectors is highly desirable.
• Deep knowledge of virtualization technologies such as vSphere and vCenter, orchestration of virtual machine deployment and management.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Kubernetes, and concepts of shared service meshes with services such as Keycloak, MinIO, and Vault.
• Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills, along with experience with Agile methodologies and cloud services.
• Proven experience in building enterprise-grade products from concept to launch.
• Deep knowledge of virtualization technologies, including various infrastructure platforms.
• Proficiency with agile tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Experience in development of products and/or management in a development environment. Build and implement product strategies aligned with OCO PMO’s vision, develop roadmaps, and prioritize features for virtualization and containerization platforms.
• Facilitate interactions between all stakeholders and actively interacting. Good with documentation.
• Hands‑on personality, take ownership, actively engage with the team, constant engagement with key stakeholders. Understand team needs, get them what their needs are. Senior Product Managers guide and mentor less experienced product managers, collaborating to deliver products on time and within budget. Work with various stakeholders, including clients, senior management, and other teams, to gather feedback and shape product requirements.
• Comprehensive training on installing, configuring, and managing VMware vSphere.
• In‑depth training on administering Kubernetes clusters, including deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications.
• Training on the NATS.io messaging system for building scalable and resilient distributed systems.
• Training that demonstrates expertise in designing, implementing, and managing a best‑in‑class cybersecurity program.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage enterprise-grade virtualization and containerization platforms from concept to launch.
• Develop roadmaps, prioritize features, and align product strategies with the OCO PMO’s vision.
• Facilitate interactions between stakeholders and gather feedback to shape requirements.

Due to federal contract requirements, United States citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph are required for the position.

Required:

• Must be a US Citizen
• Must have TS/SCI clearance w/ active polygraph
• Requires current CI poly within last seven (07) years.

$100,000 - $180,000 a year

The pay range for this job, with multi-levels, is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
