Job summary

The Waterfront Beach Resort, a Hilton Hotel, in Huntington Beach, CA, is seeking a part-time Food Runner. This role is hourly, with duties including delivering meals, maintaining safety and cleanliness, and supporting the kitchen and service teams.

Qualifications

• 1 year restaurant experience preferred.
• Well organized, detail-oriented, with excellent follow-up skills.

Responsibilities

• Transports food items from the kitchen to the dining room and serves the items ordered to the guests following the proper steps of service as designated by restaurant management.
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe workspace by following restaurant set-up standards, OSHA safety standards, and Department of Health food handling standards.
• Fills out and delivers requisitions of supplies and food items for the expediter.
• Picks up requisitions from Purchasing and stores products in designated areas. Labels all products and rotates items to ensure freshness.
• Maintains an up-to-date knowledge of all current menu items and steps necessary to finalize plate presentation prior to service.
