Job summary

La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club Inc. is seeking a friendly, reliable bus person to support servers and enhance guest dining experiences at our coastal resort.

You will assist with table settings, water refills, and room service while maintaining a clean dining area and supporting a seamless service flow. The role requires a willingness to obtain a San Diego County Food Handlers card and an RBS certification, with opportunities to grow within a renowned beachside property network.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and effectively present information to customers and employees.
• Must be able to communicate with customers fluently in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist servers in providing friendly and professional service to members and guests.
• Set tables as required and provide water and refills upon request.
• Maintain cleanliness of service and restaurant areas and perform side work.
• Assist with room service and guest requests; ensure timely delivery of trays.
• Adhere to Signature Service standards and safety requirements, including food handling and HR policies.
