Job summary

FNS, Inc. in Chicago, IL is seeking a logistics professional to manage ocean import operations and data-driven reporting. You will coordinate with carriers, brokers, and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery and accurate documentation.

The role requires 1–2 years in ocean imports or related logistics, fluent Korean and English, and strong MS Office proficiency. This is a full-time, on-site position with competitive benefits and salary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Business or related field (preferred).
• 1–2 years of experience in ocean import operations, international freight forwarding or related logistics field (entry-level with relevant academics/internships welcome).
• Fluency in Korean and English is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong organizational and communication skills to coordinate with customers, carriers, customs brokers, and internal teams.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple shipments in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely shipment delivery in accordance with customer requirements and service expectations.
• Monitor and track ocean freight shipments to maintain visibility and provide timely updates.
• Utilize ERP systems and Excel to manage shipment data and support data-driven logistics reporting.
• Coordinate with ocean carriers to manage shipment schedules and support on-time delivery.
• Collaborate with shipping lines and customs brokers to facilitate smooth import operations.
• Prepare and review import documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions accurately and timely.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with shipping lines and customs brokers to facilitate smooth and efficient import operations.
• Prepare and review import documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance throughout the import process.
• Manage and process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions accurately and in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in ocean import operations, international freight forwarding, or a related logistics field preferred; entry-level candidates with relevant academic or internship experience are encouraged toapply.

Pay

The base salary range for this role is between $50,000-$65,000 yearly, and your base salary will depend on your experiences, qualifications, and skills.
