Salary: $50k to $60k base depending on experience

Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of current experience working at an international freight forwarder in operations, and must be legally eligible to work in the US.

Responsibilities
  • Handle day-to-day ocean import or export shipments.
  • Pre-alert agent and shipper; organize documentation; follow up with steamship lines; maintain reports.
  • Ensure receipt of all required documents; send final documents.
  • File relevant documentation for shipments.
  • Arrange pick-ups, deliveries, and container loading.
  • Maintain customer service updates, including cargo tracking.
  • Set up billing and payables.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
  • Practical problem-solving and decision-making skills.
