Job summary

DSV is seeking a Freight Forwarder, Ocean Import in the United States to manage ocean import shipments from origin to destination, coordinating carrier bookings, documentation, and customs clearance. Qualifications

• Fluency in English is required.
• Experience in ocean imports is highly desirable.
• Prior experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the importation of goods by ocean, including customs clearance and delivery to the final destination.
• Coordinate with carriers, customs brokers, and trucking companies to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Track shipments and provide updates to customers as needed.
• Prepare and submit required documentation for customs clearance, including commercial invoices, bills of lading, and other relevant paperwork.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws, including customs regulations and trade laws.
• Manage relationships with customers and provide exceptional customer service.
