Job summary
AsstrA is seeking an experienced logistics professional to manage international sea freight orders and coordinate with subcontractors and clients. The role focuses on ensuring service quality, preparing documentation, and developing new business relationships within a global network.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, support tender offers, and monitor KPIs to drive performance in a growing ocean freight division.
Qualifications
- Experience in international sea freight is required.
- Strong negotiation and presentation abilities are essential.
- Fluency in English and customer-focused mindset are required.
Responsibilities
- Execute and coordinate freight forwarding orders in international sea transport.
- Select subcontractors and negotiate rates and terms with carriers, shipping lines, and customs agencies.
- Develop relationships with clients.
- Ensure quality of services delivered.
- Build relationships with new clients.
- Prepare price offers for quotations/tenders with the sales specialist and TL manager.
- Prepare freight forwarding and export/import customs clearance documentation.
- Collaborate daily with operational departments, Astra's international offices, and other AsstrA divisions.
- Monitor KPI implementation.
