JAS Worldwide is seeking an ocean export specialist to facilitate outbound shipments from the United States. The role focuses on bookings, rates, documentation, and customer follow-up to ensure compliant, cost-effective exports.
The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of ocean export experience, familiarity with the freight forwarding industry, and knowledge of Cargo Wise (C1). Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this position.
JAS is an international, non-asset-based supply chain services and solutions company. Our services include air and ocean freight forwarding, contract logistics, customs brokerage, distribution, inbound logistics, truckload brokerage and other supply chain management services, including consulting, the coordination of purchase orders and customized management services.
The ocean export specialist is responsible to facilitate the movement of products/equipment/materials out of the country, via ocean freight in accordance with organizational policy and procedures, and to comply with relevant local, country and international laws and processes. To provide customer service to exporting customers: bookings, rates, document production, accounting, agent interaction, and problem solving.
The incumbent will not directly and/or indirectly supervise employees.
