Positions offer hybrid work, with options for on-site or telehealth delivery; MO licensure required, credentialing is managed, and there is ongoing professional development through seminars and multidisciplinary

Qualifications

  • Master’s or doctoral degree in a clinical mental health field and full Missouri independent licensure.
  • Credentialing-eligible for Missouri managed care panels; 90-day credentialing wait.
  • Experience in anxiety-focused assessment and treatment is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

St. Louis Behavioral Medicine Institute (SLBMI) is seeking Licensed Professional Counselors and Licensed Clinical Social Workers with expertise and a passion in the area of OCD/anxiety disorders! We are committed to growth and are always looking to hire exceptional talent to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals.

Note: Local Candidates in MO preferred, but not required. We are open to eligible candidates located outside of the St. Louis region who may be interested in joining our team through providing telehealth services. Interested candidates for this option must be professionally licensed in Missouri as well as professionally licensed in the state they are sitting in.

Our clinicians enjoy the aspects of being an independent provider that are appealing, while having the administrative and operational support to manage everything else that you need as a provider. Our dedicated and multidisciplinary team of 70+ colleagues are willing to share their clinical expertise for case consultation, continuing education, and program development. Shift: Monday-Friday, dayshift. Onsite & Remote work available.

About the Center for OCD and Anxiety-Related Disorders Program:

  • This position is within our Center for Obsessive-Compulsive and Anxiety-Related Disorders (COARD), which provides specialty evidence-based assessment and treatment for a full spectrum of anxiety and obsessive-compulsive-related conditions.
  • Treatment is provided within both a traditional outpatient behavioral health setting as well as an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). Therapists in the program carry their own individual outpatient caseload and may also provide treatment to patients within the specialty IOP program, if desired.
  • Outpatient caseloads are tailored to the therapist's unique areas of expertise as well as their clinical interests. Therapists within COARD may treat anxiety/obsessive-compulsive disorders exclusively or can elect to treat conditions that extend outside of this domain (for example, treating eating disorders, health psychology-related conditions, etc).
  • Therapists are afforded the opportunity to regularly engage in professional consultation and education with other COARD team members in a setting that is engaging, collegial, and enjoyable.

Qualifications
  • Interested applicants must have completed a Master’s or doctoral degree in a clinical mental health field (e.g. MSW, Professional Counselor, Ph.D) AND be fully licensed by the State of Missouri to practice independently.
  • All applicants must be credentialed-eligible for managed care panels in Missouri. There is a required90-day wait period for insurance credentialing to be completed prior to starting.
  • Experience and specialty focus within the area of anxiety with ability to provide evidence-based assessment and treatment of a full spectrum of anxiety and obsessive-compulsive-related conditions is highly preferred.
