Job summary

ProActive Work Health Services is seeking an X-Ray Technician for our Sacramento, CA clinic to deliver timely diagnostic imaging in an occupational health setting. You will work with physicians and clinical staff to ensure accurate images and patient safety.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, obtaining radiographs, minimizing repeats, documenting in the EMR, and maintaining equipment in accordance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of Limited Scope / Basic / LMRT / NCT Radiologic Technology program.
• Active state licensure (as applicable).
• Experience in occupational health, urgent care, or industrial medicine preferred.
• Working knowledge of digital radiography systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiological procedures with safety and comfort.
• Obtain high-quality diagnostic radiographs as ordered by the physician.
• Maintain a repeat rate of 2% or less through proper technique.
• Follow ALARA and radiation safety standards and clinic protocols.
• Document imaging procedures in the EMR system accurately.
• Assist providers with imaging review and workflow coordination.
• Ensure radiology equipment is functioning and compliant with regs.
• Report equipment malfunctions promptly and maintain licensure.
