AbbVie Inc. is seeking an early career toxicologist to join Genetic, Environmental, and Occupational Toxicology (GEO Tox) within Development Sciences, Pre-clinical Safety. The role supports risk assessments across occupational, environmental, manufacturing, and product regulatory filings.

You will evaluate literature, develop health-based exposure limits, PDEs and OELs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align safety classifications across AbbVie programs.

Formación

• Bachelor degree in toxicology, pharmacology, or related science.
• Master degree with 5 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical, GMP/GLP, or regulatory setting.
• Exceptional collaboration, multi-tasking, and communication skills.
• Excellent writing skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Critically evaluate literature and toxicology reports to generate risk assessments and related considerations.
• Support product quality toxicology risk assessments for non-conformances and complaints.
• Experience supporting medical devices and ISO 10993.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to align on safety classifications and implementation.
• Support hazard categorizations and chemical registrations including GHS/CLP and SDS.
