The position supports the residential entry-level Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) program with emphasis on teaching, mentorship, and curriculum development.

Ideal candidates have an OT Doctorate or eligible licensure in Texas, a commitment to teaching excellence, and experience in ACOTE-accredited programs.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) preferred; doctoral degrees in occupational therapy or related disciplines will be considered.
• Licensed Occupational Therapist in Texas or eligible for licensure.
• Eligible for appointment at Assistant or Associate Professor based on qualifications and experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach and advise students in the entry-level OTD curriculum.
• Participate in curriculum development, assessment, and accreditation activities.
• Mentor students in capstone and scholarly projects.
• Engage in scholarly and professional activities.
• Serve on departmental, school, university, and professional committees.
