Job Duties
  1. Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with cognitive and/or physical functioning disorders, under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, in accordance with regulatory and clinical standards.
  2. Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and use of supportive and assistive devices.
  3. Assess patient progress and communicate with the supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatments, documenting all in the clinical record as required.
  4. Report on the effectiveness of treatment outcomes to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
Qualifications
  • Graduated from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
  • Hold current and active State license/registration, where applicable.
