Occupational Therapy Assistant – PRN – Wellington Place – Temple, TX

Wellington Place in Temple, TX, is currently seeking a PRN COTA to join our in-house therapy team. We are a skilled nursing facility offering long-term care, post-acute rehab, and geriatric outpatient therapy services.

Duties:

• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with cognitive and/or physical functioning disorders, under Occupational Therapist supervision, following regulatory and clinical standards.
• Administer rehabilitation procedures, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and use of supportive and assistive devices, under supervision.
• Assess patient progress and communicate with the supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatments accordingly.
• Report treatment outcomes and effectiveness to the supervising Occupational Therapist.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Current and active State license/registration where applicable
• All experience levels welcome
