Job summary

PruittHealth is seeking a licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for our SNF in Atlanta. This full-time role focuses on implementing therapy plans, guiding exercises, and supporting patients to increase independence. New grads are welcome, with experience in rehab preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an OTA program is required.
• Current OTA license in the state of practice.

• Foreign-trained applicants must have credentials deemed substantially equivalent by the credentialing organization.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under OT supervision.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and functional tasks.
• Guide therapeutic exercises and activities to improve independence.
• Observe and report patient progress to the Occupational Therapist.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation.
• Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques and equipment.
• Support interdisciplinary care planning and treatment goals.
