Aura Health is seeking a Travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for school-based therapy in Miami, Oklahoma. You will work with kindergarten through 8th grade students to restore life skills under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
Responsibilities include managing a caseload across multiple grades, supporting development of daily living skills, and working with pediatric populations, including students with autism.
Travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in a school setting
Assist patients, primarily students from kindergarten to 8th grade, in regaining essential life skills under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. Work with pediatric students, including those with autism, providing therapy to support their development and daily functioning.
An associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution, active State License, and school-based therapy experience are required. Comfort working with pediatric populations, including students with autism, is essential. BLS certification may be needed.
Provide therapy services during a standard weekday schedule, contributing to student progress within the school environment and managing a caseload of students across multiple grade levels.
