Responsibilities

• Performs resident screens as allowed by state practice act.
• Assists residents with rehabilitative activities and exercises per treatment plan.
• Monitors residents to ensure correct performance and provides encouragement.
• Records resident progress for use by the occupational therapist.
• May assist in scheduling, answering phones, restocking supplies, or completing paperwork.
• Provides training to residents, caregivers and families per care plan.
• Completes forms and documents per company policy and regulations.
