Job summary

Trinity Healthcare Talent Services in Kentucky seeks a full-time Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our clinical team, working under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to deliver rehabilitative services to patients with physical, developmental, or emotional disabilities.

You will assist with evaluations, develop treatment plans, implement therapeutic activities, and monitor progress while collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program is required.
• Current state license or certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Occupational Therapist in evaluating patients' functional abilities and limitations.
• Develop treatment plans in collaboration with the Occupational Therapist.
• Implement therapeutic activities and exercises to improve patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional functioning.
• Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients and their families on adaptive techniques and equipment to improve daily living skills.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient treatment and progress.
• Adhere to all legal and ethical standards in the provision of occupational therapy services.
