Occupational Therapy Assistant - PRN Mineral Wells

Join our team at Creative Solutions In HealthCare as an Occupational Therapy Assistant - PRN in Mineral Wells.

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated OTA to provide person-centered care to residents at Mineral Wells Nursing and Rehabilitation, aiming to achieve positive health outcomes.

Responsibilities

1. Plan and administer treatments to residents with disabilities to relieve pain, restore function, and promote healing.
2. Provide skilled occupational therapy services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, in accordance with physician orders.
3. Respond to service requests by relaying information and referrals to the Occupational Therapist.
4. Ensure all treatments follow the established care plan.
5. Support and instruct patients, families, and caregivers clinically.
6. Monitor patient responses to interventions.
7. Complete documentation in line with company policies and regulations.
8. Attend meetings as required by the Director of Rehab.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Preferred experience in SNF/Long-term care settings.
• Knowledge of current treatment practices.
• Familiarity with Net Health Electronic Documentation System is a plus.
• Ability to manage patients with diverse personalities.

Minimum Requirements

• Active and valid Texas license as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification.
• Good standing with regulatory agencies and licensing boards.
