We have an exciting opportunity for a Per Diem (PRN) Occupational Therapy Assistant at Heritage House of Marshall in Marshall, TX.

We are seeking an OTA to join our dedicated team of professionals committed to providing person-centered care to our residents, aiming for positive outcomes.

Occupational Therapy Assistant Responsibilities

1. Plan and administer treatment to residents and patients with disabilities to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing.
2. Provide skilled occupational therapy services in accordance with physician orders under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
3. Respond to requests for service by relaying information and referrals to the Occupational Therapist.
4. Ensure all treatment is delivered according to the established plan of care.
5. Provide clinical support and instruct patients, families, and caregivers.
6. Monitor patient response to treatments.
7. Complete required documentation in line with company policies and regulations.
8. Attend meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab.

Occupational Therapy Assistant Skills

1. Preferred experience in SNF/Long-term care.
2. Current knowledge of treatment practices.
3. Knowledge of Net Health Electronic Documentation System is preferred.
4. Ability to manage patients with diverse personalities.

Occupational Therapy Assistant Requirements

1. Active/Valid Texas license as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
