Job summary

Arbor Rehabilitation and Healthcare Services, Inc. in Warren, OH is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (PRN) to join a dynamic rehab team. You will implement treatment plans under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist to help patients gain independence and function.

You will collaborate with the rehab staff, educate patients and families, and contribute to accurate documentation. A valid license to practice physical therapy is required and SNF experience is preferred.

• Skilled Nursing Facility experience preferred.
• Excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Implements patient’s individualized treatment plan as established by the primary Occupational Therapist.
• Work with other rehab team members to implement programs based on patient needs.
• Acts as an assistant during tests, evaluations, and complex procedures.
• Instructs patients, families and caregivers in OT techniques under supervision.
